The family of the late Abubakar Abdullahi
Yakubu has announced his death following a prolonged illness. Late Abubakar
Abdullahi Yakubu died on Sunday morning at the age of 61.
Before his retirement, he served for many
years at the National Mathematical Centre in Abuja, where he was known for his
commitment and dedication to duty.
Speaking on behalf of the family, his younger
brother and staff of Usaku FM Yola, Abdurrahman Abdullahi Yakubu, described the
deceased as a humble and devoted individual whose life was marked by service to
humanity and selfless commitment to others.
He is survived by several siblings and
relatives, including Yakubu Abdullahi Yakubu Wakili Tarihi Adamawa, as well as
Barkindo Abdullahi Yakubu, retired staff of the Adamawa Broadcasting
Corporation, Yola.
The late Abubakar Abdullahi Yakubu has since
been laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites.
