ROAD TO HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES: Salihijo Unveils Representation/Development Plans

Emerging victorious from the just concluded APC House of Representatives membership seats, Engineer Ahmad Salihijo, who secured the party’s ticket to contest for the Yola North, Yola South, and Girei Federal Constituency seat in the forthcoming general election; has addressed journalists in Yola.

 

Salihijo expressed profound gratitude to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for creating an enabling environment that allowed all aspirants to participate freely and fairly in the electoral process, noting that the successful conduct of the primaries has further strengthened the confidence of party members and the electorate in the democratic process.

 

The APC flag bearer also extended heartfelt appreciation to supporters, youths, women groups, elders, and the entire electorate for the overwhelming confidence reposed in him, vowing to justify this through purposeful representation, people-oriented leadership, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the constituency.

 

Salihijo pledged that if elected, his administration would operate an open-door policy and all-inclusive system, stressing that unity, peace, tolerance, and collective progress would remain the cornerstone of his representation, adding that sustainable development can only thrive in an atmosphere where every individual feels included and valued.

 

He appreciates the electorate for their patience, resilience, and determination to ensure the success of the primaries, noting that their sacrifices and steadfastness would never be taken for granted, promising to champion policies and initiatives that would positively impact the lives of the people through improved infrastructure, youth and women empowerment, quality education, healthcare delivery, employment opportunities, and enhanced economic activities across Yola North, Yola South, and Girei Federal Constituency.
