The leadership of Nigeria Union of Journalists
(NUJ), Adamawa State Council, congratulates the Executive Governor of Adamawa
State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, GSSR, on the Golden Award of
Excellence in Education and Teacher Friendliness conferred on him by the
Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT).
In a press statement signed by the state
chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Ibrahim, and Secretary, Comrade Kissinger Bukar, the
Council described the award as a well-deserved recognition of Governor
Fintiri’s unwavering commitment to improving the education sector and his
consistent support for teachers across the state.
Nigeria Union of Journalists commended the Nigeria
Union of Teachers for acknowledging the Governor’s remarkable contributions to
education, noting that the gesture would further inspire greater investment in
human capital development.
The NUJ also urged the Governor to sustain his
administration’s focus on transforming the education sector for the benefit of
future generations.
