The Zone 3 Command Headquarters, Yola wishes
to announce to the Public that the Zone's Operatives will conduct a one-day
shooting range exercise/training at Counter Terrorism Unit Base, along Mubi
Road, Girei Local Government Area.
A statement signed by SP Aminu Umar Bashir, the
Police Public Relations Officer for the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone
3 Command Headquarters, Yola, indicates that the exercise will commence on
Saturday 4th April, 2026, by 8:00am to 1:00pm.
Therefore, the Zone calls on members of the
Public, especially those residing at NAS Radio Station, Sangere FUTY, Federal
Housing Hayin Gada, amongst others, to keep off from the area and not to panic
at the sound of the shootings until the exercise is over.
The Assistant Inspector-General of Police,
in-charge of Zone 3, command Headquarters, Yola, AIG Akinwale Kunle Adeniran, appreciates
the law-abiding people of Adamawa State for their understanding, cooperation,
and continuous support in this regard and assured them of the command's
commitment to protecting lives and property.
