Sarki Dawaki Mai Tuta Adamawa, Engineer Diaulhaq Abubakar mnse, in company of friends, associates
and other entourage members have visited His Royal Highness, Lamido Adamawa,
Alh. (Dr.) Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa, to commiserate with him, the royal
family and the entire Adamawa Emirate, Adamawa State and Nigeria as a whole over
the death of his brother, Alh. (Dr.) Ahmad Aliyu Musdafa - Sardauna Adamawa, former
Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs, as well as a major royal prince.
According to Engineer Diaulhaq Abubakar mnse, “We are here with
humility and a heart filled with sympathy. Indeed, the death of Sardauna
Adamawa has left us all in deep sorrow. Truly, it is said that “mutuwa ba ta da
nisa,” but when it touches a noble household and a noble personality like this,
the pain is felt by the entire land.
Your Royal Highness, the life of the late
Sardauna Adamawa was one of dignity and honour, a life lived under the shade of
this great palace, carrying the blessings of this throne, and leaving behind
footprints of goodness. Like a tree that gives shade to many travelers, Sardauna
Adamawa offered love, kindness, and comfort to all who cross his path. That is
why today, his absence is felt not only by the Royal Family, but the entire
land.
Your Highness, when a pillar of a house falls, the sound echoes far and
wide. The death of Sardauna Adamawa is a great test, but also a reminder that
the Almighty Allah (SWT) who gives life also calls His servants at His
appointed time. We pray that Allah (SWT), will forgive his shortcomings, grant him
Aljannatul Firdaus, and comfort this palace with patience, strength and fortitude to bear
this loss that can never be replaced.
Your Highness, know that the people
are with you. From the lowly to the mighty, we share in your grief. We pray for
the continuity of peace of this royal stool, for peace in your household, and
for the light of leadership never to dim.
We humbly extend our heartfelt
condolences to this great palace. May Allah bless the memory of the late Sardauna
Adamawa, may He grant you long life, and may this emirate continue to flourish
under your guidance.”
Engineer Diaulhaq Abubakar mnse had also condoles with Kaura Adamawa and Saki Sudan Adamawa over this great loss, where he told them that “this loss is one that has touched every heart, near and far. We mourn with you, but we also take comfort in the legacy of goodness and honour that the late Sardauna Adamawa has left behind. May the memory of his life bring strength to you in this difficult time, and may Allah grant you the courage to endure.
I wish to assure you that you are not
alone in this period of grief. The entire community, friends, and well-wishers
are standing with you in prayers, in sympathy, and in support. We are united
with you in sorrow, and we are also united with you in hope – the hope that
God, who gives and takes, will grant eternal rest to late Sardauna Adamawa and
comfort to those left behind.
We offer our heartfelt condolences.
May the soul of the late Sardauna Adamawa find peace, and may this royal house
continue to stand strong, blessed, and united.”
