The member representing Demsa, Numan and Lamurde Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Kwamoti Laori, has distributed fertilizer and improved rice seed, aimed at boosting food production and enhancing farmers' incomes.
Laori represented at the event by Kate Mamuno, Majority Leader at the Adamawa State House of Assembly and Member representing Demsa State Constituency, appreciates ward representatives who collected the inputs on behalf of their communities.
He urged them to ensure the items are fully utilized
for effective outcome; and not taken to markets, emphasizing their role in
boosting food production and alleviating poverty in rural areas.
Designed to ensure each polling unit in the
constituency benefits from the empowerment, the initiative targets over one
thousand constituents.
The gesture marks a pivotal step in enhancing
agricultural productivity and fostering economic resilience in the region,
showcasing Kwamoti Laori's commitment to improving the livelihoods of his
constituents.
Dignitaries at the event such as Bauna Myandasa,
representing Lamurde at the State Assembly; Niwesa G. Kushi, Board Chairman,
