2 IN POLICE NET FOR RAPPING MINORS

 

The Adamawa State Police Command under the leadership of CP Dankombo Morris, has arrested two persons for allegedly raping two minors at Sangere FUTY, in Girei Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

 

Police statement signed by SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, (ANIPR), the Command’s Public Relations Officer, for the Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Police Command revealed that the suspects: Bala Muhammed, 35 years old and Usman Abdullahi, 17 years, both residents of Dadin Kowa, Sangere FUTY, in Girei Local Government Area, had on the 12/1/2025 raped 11 and 14 years old girls respectively and went into hiding only to resist arrest. Until the 22^nd January, 2025, when the Police command received complaints on the alleged crime perpetrated by them.

 

The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, Psc(+), upon receiving the report deployed personnel of the command attached to Girei Divisional Police Headquarters, who succeeded in arresting them.

 

During interrogation, both suspects confessed committing the crime. They admitted that it wasn't intentional but a mistake, blaming the devil for their act.

 

The Adamawa Police Boss, therefore assured that the suspects will be prosecuted upon completion of investigation.
